New Survivors

Stop the press! Just over an hour ago the BBC anounced that they will be remaking Terry Nation's classic series Survivors.

Writer of the new series Adrian hodges had this to say:

""Survivors was one of the bravest and most exciting programmes of its time and I'm thrilled to be involved with re-imagining it for a new audience.

"I remember its original impact vividly and I hope we can make a similar impression with the new version.

"Its themes remain as relevant as ever and while we will be staying faithful to many aspects of the original, we will also be bringing the story into the 21st Century and making it accessible to contemporary audiences."

Afterburn

Red 5 Comics are releasing a new post-apocalyptic comic in the US in January. Afterburn tells the story of life after a massive solar flare that destroys half of the world. "Indiana Jones meets Mad Max" is how it is being described. Check out the link below for the first few pages of issue 1.
