2012 The Apocalympics

Here's some crazy news for you - Bethnal Green WMC in east London are putting on a post-apocalyptic Olympic night! It promises to be a freakish mix of future sports and "live hard knuckle electro sportsrock"(hard knuckle - surely they haven't seen Hard Knuckle?). The night is on Friday 8th February and seems like it could be a good laugh.

The Road

News from the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road is that Charlize Theron is now on the cast list alongside previously revealed Viggo Mortensen. Theron will play Mortensen's wife, although the role can't be very big and she will probably only be seen in flashbacks. I best not spoil the plot too much - go read the book; it's superb.

Four times a year Badmovies.org gives out their Legion of Muck Award "to sites which are exceptional in their support of b-movies." We are honoured to say we have won the award for January to March 2008. Not even a year old and we have our first award! Thanks to all our readers for keeping us motivated.
